How to read your GlobalFreight tracking page

Your GlobalFreight tracking page brings everything about a shipment onto one screen. Here is what each part means, so you always know where things stand.

The tracking number

Every shipment has one tracking number in the format GFD 0000 0000 0000. It is printed on your PDF shipping receipt. Enter it on the Track page, with or without spaces.

Status and progress bar

The status at the top is the newest checkpoint recorded for your shipment. The progress bar groups statuses into five stages: label created, picked up, in transit, out for delivery and delivered. Statuses such as Arrived at hub, Departed hub and Customs clearance all sit inside the in-transit stage.

The route map

The solid line on the map connects the checkpoints our team has recorded for your shipment, in time order. The marker shows the latest recorded checkpoint. If the shipment has not been delivered yet, a dashed line shows the planned remaining leg to the destination. The map only changes when a new checkpoint is posted; it does not move on a timer.

Checkpoint history

Below the map, the history lists every checkpoint with its status, location, date and time, newest first. If there is a note, for example about an address check, it appears under that checkpoint.

Holds and exceptions

An On hold or Delivery exception status means the shipment is paused. The page shows a note explaining why. GlobalFreight never asks for payment by text, gift card or crypto to release a package. If you receive a request like that, contact us directly.
